“Fantastic Plastic Elastic” is the name behind the initials of this chair, whose primary characteristic is its formal effect: soft and sinuous, colorful and seductive. It is fantastic due to its exclusive technology that allows the creation of a robust but elastic structure by fixing a single plate of curved plastic onto two parallel aluminum tubes. The seat/backrest body is grafted onto the supporting aluminum structure, giving the chair both resistance and flexibility as well as lightness and practicality. It can be conveniently stacked eight-high and is suitable for bringing character to communal areas. Thanks to its component materials, it survives perfectly outdoors. Designed by Ron Arad.
